I adore churches and cathedrals. Not just because of my faith and how safe they make me feel but every single one is so undeniably beautiful. Truro Cathedral is no exception, there is so much history, so many stories, fascinating facts. There's the sculptures, carved walls, beautiful carpentry made by a woman, alters that are breathtaking and the most amazing atmosphere from all who look around regardless of faith or interest.
I've just seen the matching photo! I must take a look inside next time I'm in Truro.
ReplyDeleteMartyn seems to have taken more photos and gone into the history of the architecture in more detail 😆😆
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful place - as I said on Martyn's post, I didn't realise Truro had a cathedral x
ReplyDeleteHi Hannah, I totally agree. I am not religious, but I do appreciate the architecture and detail in a church. I've never visited Truro Cathedral before, but if it's anything like Exeter Cathedral it's breathtaking inside. The photos you've shared give a good sense of the size it must be inside.
