The November Day Book:

Would you like to linger on the simple things...then join me and many others in taking a little look into the day plans and thoughts of those who are focusing on simplicity...beauty of the everyday moments.

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...It is peaceful and dark, all except a couple of street lights. This is very rare for this time of night in the town, I'm enjoying this moment!

I am thinking...How nice it is that finally the children are snuggled in their beds and I can relax on my comfy sofa.

I am thankful...Everyday.

In the kitchen...There is a mess! I'm trying to keep on top of it but it's just a loosing battle!

I am wearing...My lovely new pj bottoms for The Man, pink top and hoody (refuse to put on the heating i'm not that cold yet!)

I am creating...Sock Monkeys..But it's on a stay still at present as I've been quite busy! Also a monster for Little Miss's nursery project..details to follow!

I am going..To sleep..but may have second roast helpings before I do that!

I am wondering...If my Little Man's cough will stay at bay tonight so he can have a good nights sleep.

I am reading...Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire..Again but I get lost in the books and love to be lost in a story.

I am hoping...That tomorrow I can do something, at least ONE thing that can be removed from my 'To Do' list.

I am looking forward to...Christmas!!! But my Fathers Birthday before that..He is 50 after all!

I am hearing...The rain tapping on my windows. Takes me instantly back to when I lived in the countryside.

Around the house...There is a lot to do that I would love to complete before Christmas and lots of people descend for the Festive Season.

I am pondering...I've done my pondering for today, and I did sign up for that Anatomy course.

One of my favorite things...Bar my children and fiance?  Anything pink?!

A few plans for the rest of the week:Food shop tomorrow 'Hoorah!' Taking a funny homemade monster to the school gates, trying to cope with my laundry back up..and the rest! I will also be writing up my Save The Dates...

  1. Sock Monkeys-- how fun! They were one of my favorite toys as a kid.
