Scavenger Hunt Sunday #2

Happens Everyday

Everyday I get out and about in some shape or form. Sometimes I prefer to snuggle indoors but most often, be it an appointment, a sneaky shopping trip or more than likely the school. The feet above are mine and my eldest nieces. Yes, those are slippers! She cracks me up!

Upside Down

Natural

On a recent walk with my younger niece, hubby and Little A we stopped by a field to say hello to some horses. This horse was a little unsure of my tiny friends so I took a photo of her hiding behind the bush. I love horses and when I think of natural I can't think of anything more natural than the beauty of the countryside and its creatures which often reside there.

Man Made

Two cards I myself made for two people who have given birth to their new babies. A first for one and a third for another!

Looking Down

Little A trapped me under a vegetable rack..I'm not sure how I took this photo but I managed it somehow!

 Photographers Choice

I took this photo at a friends birthday party for her little girl. Midge was so thrilled with her face paints that we have booked to go there again with her cousin on her birthday which is only a few weeks away!

Lunch

Today I had the family over for a belated New Years Day dinner. These are my gluten and dairy free Yorkshire puddings that I whipped up. I was so, so pleased with them. I think I would've eaten them there and then but alas, I had to share!

Something Beginning with the Letter G

Gorgeous Gluten free chocolate. It's also dairy free and tastes delicious. If you've had those After Eight chocolate mints then you'll know what I mean. These are thicker though. I have already eaten too many and feel sick!

My Town

This is Heartlands, part of my town. It's a beautiful place preserving our mining heritage here in Cornwall.

Words to Live by

I'm extremely big on kindness. Last year I sent gifts to people randomly. One person for every month. This year I am focusing on kindness in a big way and even have a 31 Days of Kindness project planned for March on the blog for others to join in with. Even one small act or word can go a very long way in a persons day.

HAPPINESS

Happiness is a 5 year old Midge with a big chocolaty ice cream enjoying the sun and food festival on Saturday.

FAMILY

The men oF the family! Shame my brother wasn't there too really but here's my husband Jason, Little A and Pops.

FUZZY

My Dad bought me this lovely broach yesterday. It's really me, so pretty and delicate looking. I tried to fuzz the background with a photo editor so I'm hoping I can just about get away with it!

SPRING IN BLACK AND WHITE

It was definitely spring in the village yesterday. I walked to the end of the road and snapped this picture as I watched Little Miss play with her Auntie for a while. We really were blessed with such beautiful weather for the festival.

GATHERING OR PROVIDE

The local fish monger in the village provided the hungry visitors (like myself) with some delicious fish kebabs and bags of scallops. They were so, so good! What you can't see is the gathering behind me! There were so many people queuing I'm glad I got there quick!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Happy Easter everybody! Another week has gone so it's time to link up my photos for this weeks hunt. I'll be doing the A-Z blogging challenge in April so please hang on in there with me as I see if I can survive a post a day(which is rare for me!)

Onto this weeks Scavenger Hunt Sunday:

Water

The sea was rough but the harbour was closed making for a rather more peaceful looking scene.

Empty

This chocolate bunny was full of mini beans...Until Little A got his hands on it

Fresh

Grabbing some fresh air after Midge's parent's evening. They both grabbed some twigs each and pretended to be Harry Potter on the way home. Sweet.

Weathered

I've dug this photo out of the archives because I love it. I would say it is a bit weathered from all the years being battered by the Cornish sea!

Ordinary

Nothing out of the ordinary for England. I love our big red phone boxes and would hate them to be painted another colour. In our town they have been painted black. Black! Speechless!
