The Gallery: At Peace

I struggled with this to be honest but after taking some photos last night for an upcoming blog post I thought to myself, 'This would be a really good photo for The Gallery.'
Photographically speaking it's not amazing, it's the thought behind it.

I'll be the first one to say something I dislike about my myself much like most women out there. Like a few other fellow bloggers I am putting a post together later on about being at at peace with myself. I think I finally am. I'm not the prettiest but I'm not the worst looking thing on this planet either.
In this photo I could still point out a couple of things I am unhappy with but couldn't we all? I think I quite like me..I think I am finally at peace with myself.

  4. Lovely post, my friends and I were saying the other day as we looked through old photos, why didn't we feel this peace with ourselves when we were 18? Then we were looking a lot slimmer and less wrinkled but more critical of ourselves! Peace with yourself is one good thing age brings x

    1. It's funny isnt it how when we're younger there is nothing wrong with us but for whatever reason we still find anything and everything there wrong with our bodies. Thanks for commenting xx

    1. Thank you so much. I am pretty proud to feel this way when i'm young. My mum is 50 years old and has only just found peace with herself in the last couple of years which i think is such a shame.
      Thank-you

  6. Hannah, don't be so hard on yourself. You're gorgeous. Hell, you even have a fan club here in America. :)
